When I returned from a jog this afternoon, I was greeted by zero processed chocolate in the house. You maybe thinking that I'm health conscious... or that I had the foresight to keep junk food out of my house so I wouldn't undo all that exercise by indulging in empty calories. Wrong! I just ate the last piece of Easter candy yesterday and was fresh out of treats.
The solution did end up slightly healthier (fruit makes it healthy, okay??) plus I already had all of the ingredients!

Recipe:1 Cup of Frozen Fruit 1 Cup of Milk (we like Pasture-Raised) 1 TBSP & 1 TSP of Unsweetened Cocoa 1 TBSP of White Sugar 1 Splash of Pure Vanilla Extract Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour it into a cup & enjoy! Makes 1 berry, berry yummy chocolate smoothie. Other ideas: You could add chocolate chips to the mix or garnish with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry!
